Have You Been Missing the Maine State Museum?
The Friends of the Maine State Museum is offering current – and brand new! – members a chance to join us for a limited series of exhibit preview tours. See the work in progress on the new exhibits and spaces to be unveiled with the first phase of our Grand Reopening in 2026!
The tour will focus on three new main floor exhibits, Beyond the Postcard: Stories of the Maine Experience, Vector: A Whale’s Life in the Gulf of Maine, and the Lunder Education Center, the museum’s first dedicated space for families and school groups.
