Maine State Museum educators are migrating to libraries for February and April school vacation! The All About Birds! program will be held in eight different locations in 2024. 

These free family events are jam packed with hands-on activities inspired by our feathered friends. We will build nests, match beaks, fold origami, and more!

Designed for kids K-12, parental supervision required for K-Grade 4.

No registration required. You can fly in at any point during the program hours and rotate through the activities. If you have questions about specific locations, feel free to reach out to the host library.

February 21, 2024, 10 am-1 pm – Isaac Umberhine Public Library, Richmond

February 22, 2024, 10 am-1 pm – Auburn Public Library, Auburn

February 23, 2024, 1-3 pm – Pittsfield Public Library, Pittsfield

April 16, 2024, 12-3 pm – Skidompha Library, Damariscotta

April 17, 2024, 1-3 pm – Waterville Public Library, Waterville

April 18, 2024, 1-3 pm – Turner Public Library, Turner
