Groups can use this form to request a visit to the Maine State Museum as well as for tours of the State House or Blaine House. Individuals can use this form to request tours of the State House and Blaine House only.
Please note that your requested tour time might not be available. Museum staff will contact you with your tour time and details soon after you submit your request.

This form should be used to book dates after October 24, 2026, when the Museum reopens.

Reservations for guided tours need to be made 3 working days in advance to allow museum staff time to schedule and confirm your tour. The Blaine House and State House are closed on holidays and weekends. Blaine House tours are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00. State House tours are offered Monday-Friday at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00. Self-guided museum tours are available during the museum’s open hours.

When possible, the Legislature will recognize groups from schools, homeschools, or other organizations when they are touring during a legislative session. Please list the name and the town of the school or organization that should be used. Please list multiple names and towns if necessary.

Blaine House Information

Blaine House Visit: Does your party need accessible parking?

A Blaine House Security Form will be sent to you once your reservation has been confirmed. This form should be filled out and submitted no less than 3 days before your visit. Individuals ages 18+ not listed on the form will be unable to enter the grounds. All adult visitors will need to show a photo ID upon arrival.
