Support

The Friends of the Maine State Museum is hiring for a full-time Executive Director to provide organizational support and help sustain the Friends’ ongoing partnership with the Maine State Museum.

State funding helps the museum maintain core operations, but the most impactful programs—like special exhibitions, educational outreach, public events, and community projects—rely on private support. Your donation to the Friends of the Maine State Museum, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, directly enhances these initiatives and allows us to serve the museum community more fully. When you make a donation, you will stay informed about new initiatives, be invited to exhibit openings and other events, and be assured your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Here are ways you can make a difference.
